Royal Guard opens applications for soldier and first soldier ranks

The Royal Guard Presidency has announced the opening of applications for the ranks of soldier and first soldier for men graduating in the academic year 1447/1448 AH. Applications can be submitted through the following online portal: (https://irec.srg.gov.sa) for a period of five days, starting from Sunday, 30/4/1448 AH (corresponding to October 11, 2026) until Thursday, 4/5/1448 AH (October 15, 2026), as follows:
First: Holders of a bachelor's degree from Saudi or foreign universities and technical colleges may apply for the rank of first soldier in the following specialties:
(Risk and crisis management, e-learning, information technology, public administration, information systems, law, finance, cybersecurity, psychology, accounting, science, computer science, sociology, human resources management, information security, public health, secretarial studies, data science, data analysis, civil engineering, training and development, software engineering, emergency medicine, network engineering, smart systems and artificial intelligence).
Second: Holders of a diploma may apply for the rank of soldier, and holders of a bachelor's degree may apply for the rank of first soldier in the following specialties:
(Technical support, signal technician, electronics technician, nutrition technician, vehicle fuel and electrical maintenance technician, cooking technician, printing technician).
Third: Holders of a high school diploma may apply for the rank of soldier in the security and protection specialty.
Fourth: Holders of a high school diploma may apply for the rank of soldier driver, provided they hold a public driving license.
The Royal Guard Presidency stated that applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. The applicant must be of Saudi origin, upbringing, and birth, except for those who grew up or were born with their parents while serving the state abroad, in which case proof must be provided, and the applicant must not hold the nationality of the country of birth.
2. The applicant must have good conduct, reputation, and character, and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude or dishonesty.
3. The applicant must be medically fit for military service and pass all required acceptance procedures and tests.
4. The applicant's age must not exceed 23 years for high school graduates, 25 years for diploma holders, and 27 years for bachelor's degree holders.
5. The applicant must not be married to a non-Saudi.
6. The applicant must not be employed by any government agency.
7. The applicant's height must be proportionate to weight, with a minimum height of 175 cm for security and protection applicants, and 170 cm for other specialties.
8. The applicant must be a graduate of the academic year 1447/1448 AH.
9. The applicant must possess the required academic and technical qualifications for the position applied for, with all qualifications certified by the relevant authority.
