Saudi leaders send condolences to Nepal over flood and landslide victims

King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of condolences to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal following the deaths caused by floods and landslides in the country's north.

The King said: "We have learned of the floods and landslides that struck northern Nepal, resulting in deaths and missing persons. As we share in your sorrow over this tragedy, we extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to you, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of Nepal. We hope for the safe return of the missing and that you see no further harm."

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also sent a cable of condolences to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal.

The Crown Prince said: "I was informed of the floods and landslides that occurred in northern Nepal, resulting in deaths and missing persons. I extend my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to you, the families of the deceased, and the friendly people of Nepal. I hope for the safe return of the missing and that you are spared from any further harm."
