Border guards foil attempt to smuggle 5 kg of hashish in Asir

Border patrols from the Border Guard in the Raboua sector of Asir have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 5 kilograms of hashish.

According to an official statement on the Border Guard's account on X, initial legal procedures have been completed and the seized drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995 or via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
