Saudi ministry recalls over 84,000 Toyota Camry cars for dashboard defect

The Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles from the 2025 and 2026 model years due to a defect in the dashboard system that may prevent important information from being displayed to the driver.

According to the ministry, the defect affects the operation of turn signals and warning lights, as well as the alert sounds for the ignition key and seat belts, increasing the risk of an accident.

The ministry urged owners of affected vehicles to check if their vehicle identification number is included by visiting Recalls.sa, and to contact Abdul Latif Jameel at 8004400055 to have the necessary programming carried out free of charge.
