International praise for Saudi healthcare highlights sector strength, expert says

Saudi health sector expert Mohammed Al-Sanan said that international praise for the Kingdom’s healthcare system reflects the strength of the sector in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya TV, Al-Sanan added that such recognition also confirms that recent achievements are the result of the National Health Transformation Program, the transformation of the healthcare system over the past ten years, and the establishment of regional health clusters.

Al-Sanan noted that prioritizing human health has positively impacted the components of the Kingdom’s healthcare system, as seen in the quality and level of services and the focus on public health.

A recent International Monetary Fund report praised the tangible gains made by Saudi Arabia’s health sector, stating that ongoing reforms have helped boost the efficiency of health services and improve the quality of care.
