Four Yemenis arrested in Asir for smuggling 60 kg of qat

Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested four Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 60 kilograms of qat.

According to a statement posted on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995, or via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
