Sukkar Association official: We aim to prevent diabetes complications through awareness programs

Omar Al-Duhaiman, Corporate Communications Director at the Sukkar Association, said the organization aims to prevent diabetes complications and support beneficiaries through awareness programs and field visits that enhance the treatment journey.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, he added that the association is a non-profit entity licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development and operates under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Health.

Al-Duhaiman noted that the association works across several preventive and therapeutic tracks, in addition to external awareness efforts through campaigns held across the Qassim region.

He pointed out that during the summer, the association launches the 'Prevention of Diabetes Complications' campaign, targeting people with diabetes to detect cases before complications arise.
