Saudi Arabia weather Tuesday: High temperatures, strong winds and rain forecast for several regions

The National Center for Meteorology, in its weather report for Tuesday, forecast that maximum temperatures will remain high over parts of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province. Active winds raising dust and sand will continue to affect these areas, as well as parts of Riyadh, Najran, and the eastern slopes of the southwestern highlands. There is also a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds over parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, extending to the southern highlands of Makkah.

The center noted that surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at 15–40 km/h in the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly at 25–55 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north, and from one and a half to two and a half meters in the central and southern sections. Sea conditions will be moderate in the north and moderate to rough in the central and southern parts.

The National Center for Meteorology also confirmed that winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to westerly at 15–45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to westerly at 10–30 km/h in the south. Wave heights will be from one to two meters in the northern and central sections, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the south. Sea conditions will be moderate in the north and center, and slight to moderate in the south.
