Civil Defense declares danger over in Yanbu

Saudi Civil Defense has declared that the danger in Yanbu governorate has passed, while stressing the importance of continuing to follow official instructions and strictly avoiding gatherings and filming.

Earlier, Civil Defense had announced that an alert was issued through the National Early Warning Platform in Emergencies for Yanbu governorate to warn of potential danger.

Through its account on X, Civil Defense called on the public to follow these steps upon receiving a warning message:

Remain calm and follow official instructions.

Immediately move to the nearest safe place inside a building or an interior room, away from crowds, and stay there until the danger has passed.

Do not leave your home or building until the threat is over. Stay away from open areas and glass, and do not stand on balconies or rooftops.

If you are outside, enter the nearest building or take cover behind a solid barrier. Avoid gatherings and filming entirely, and stay away from hazardous locations. If you receive a warning while in your vehicle, pull over to the side of the road away from bridges and tall buildings.

In case of emergency, call 911.
