Minister orders Friday sermon to focus on security and armed forces

Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh has directed mosque preachers across the Kingdom to dedicate the upcoming Friday sermon, on 14 Rabi Al-Akhir 1448 AH, to the blessings of security, safety, and stability enjoyed by Saudi Arabia.

The directive emphasized the importance of praising the sacrifices of the armed forces, border guards, and security personnel in protecting the nation, its citizens, and residents, as well as highlighting the status of the Two Holy Mosques and the sanctity of any attack against them.

Sermon themes and key directives

The ministry stressed that sermons should address the corruption of Houthi ideology and the criminal nature of their attacks and threats targeting the Kingdom’s security and Islamic holy sites. Imams are also urged to pray for the nation’s leadership, armed forces, and security personnel, asking for their victory, protection, and success.
