Qatari Interior Ministry receives Saudi delegation to boost security cooperation

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, represented by several of its security and specialized departments, has received a delegation led by Maj. Gen. Dr. Ibrahim Sattam Al-Anzi, Director General of Legal Affairs at the Public Security sector of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior.

According to a statement posted on the ministry’s official X account, the visit was part of efforts to strengthen security cooperation and exchange expertise with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior.

The Qatari ministry said the visit included tours of the Department of Penal and Correctional Institutions, the Judgment Enforcement Department, the Police Academy, the Juvenile Police Department, the Rescue Police Department (Fazaa), and the Capital Security Department. The aim was to review best practices and share expertise across various fields of security and police work.
