Thunderstorms expected in parts of Saudi Arabia through week’s end

The National Center for Meteorology has announced that the chance of thunderstorms will persist in some regions of Saudi Arabia until the end of this week, according to outputs from the Saudi numerical weather model.

The center stated on its X platform account that rain is expected to continue in the regions of Asir, Jazan, Al-Baha, and the highlands of the Makkah region, with the impact extending to include Najran.

It also noted that clouds will appear over the Eastern Province and Riyadh, with the possibility of light rain, especially in their southern parts.
