The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has completed preparations to welcome the second group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Umrah and Visit for 1448 AH. The group is scheduled to arrive in Madinah on Wednesday before traveling to Makkah to perform Umrah, following King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s approval to host 1,000 male and female pilgrims at his own expense, divided into four groups this year.

The second group includes 250 pilgrims from 23 countries across Europe and Asia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Moldova, Austria, Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Switzerland, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria.

The Ministry has organized a diverse program for the guests during their stay in Madinah, including visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, Quba Mosque, the Martyrs’ Cemetery, Mount Uhud, the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, as well as the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. Before heading to Makkah for Umrah, the group will also visit the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kiswa of the Kaaba and the Revelation Exhibition.
