The signing ceremony took place in Riyadh, with SFDA CEO Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey representing the authority and Nasser bin Saud Al-Sahli, chairman of the board, representing the association.

A statement noted that the Cooperative Governance Association is the first specialized governance association in the Kingdom, licensed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

The MoU aims to strengthen partnership and integration between the government and non-profit sectors and improve institutional performance, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
