Qassim Municipality steps up cleanliness and environmental efforts in Unaizah

Qassim Municipality, through the Unaizah Municipal Department, intensified cleaning and environmental sanitation operations during the first half of 2026 by carrying out a range of field activities, including removing waste and debris, addressing visual blight, and maintaining public facilities and residential neighborhoods.

As part of its monitoring and response efforts, the municipality handled 953 reports and issued 13 notices as it worked to address and resolve public concerns.

The operations included removing graffiti from an area of 2,002.80 square meters, painting 1,007.50 meters of curbs, and clearing 31,400 kilograms of weeds.

In terms of waste removal, the municipality collected 188,728.07 tons of bulky waste, 4,090.64 tons of commercial waste, 11,363 tons of scattered waste, and 39,305.05 tons of household waste.

For environmental sanitation, 9,900 liters of pesticides and 5,700 liters of disinfectants were used during the period.
