Saudi Cabinet welcomes launch of multinational maritime defense coalition

The Saudi Cabinet has welcomed the start of institutional and operational activation of the multinational maritime defense coalition, which was launched by Saudi Arabia.

This follows the completion of its organizational and planning frameworks, marking a new phase of joint cooperation aimed at achieving full operational readiness and carrying out its mandate to enhance collective maritime security, protect freedom of navigation and maritime straits, and support the continuity of international trade and global supply chains.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the Cabinet session held today in Jeddah.
