Jordan condemns Houthi drone attack attempt on Makkah as violation of Saudi sovereignty

Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned the attempted drone attack on Makkah launched by the Houthi militia, describing it as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to the Kingdom’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.

The ministry said the attack constituted a flagrant breach of international law and showed disregard for the sanctity and status of Makkah, as well as the feelings of Muslims worldwide.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
