Key Takeaways
AIThe US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced today that Saudi Arabia has become an official partner in the Global Entry® program, marking a significant step to strengthen cooperation in travel, trade, and security between the United States and Saudi Arabia. With this announcement, Saudi Arabia joins 22 other partner countries whose citizens are now eligible to apply for the program.
Diane J. Sabatino, Executive Assistant Commissioner at the CBP Office of Field Operations, said: “Travel should be a bridge builder. By expanding Global Entry eligibility to Saudi citizens, we are facilitating international travel for trusted travelers while also deepening cooperation between our countries. This achievement reflects our shared vision for secure and efficient travel.”
The Global Entry program allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to benefit from expedited entry procedures at US airports, as well as access to TSA PreCheck® for eligible domestic flights. Applicants from Saudi Arabia will undergo thorough vetting by both US and Saudi authorities, including an in-person interview with CBP officials before completing enrollment.

The app offers eligible travelers a convenient, unified way to apply for trusted traveler programs, check membership status, schedule interviews, and manage or renew memberships.
