King Salman hails trilateral summit for establishing long-term defense partnership

King Salman bin Abdulaziz praised the outcomes of the trilateral summit in establishing a long-term framework for defense partnership, saying it will, God willing, strengthen cooperation, coordination, and integration between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan. He noted the partnership will help address regional challenges, safeguard international security and stability, and support the aspirations of people in the region and around the world for greater growth and prosperity.

Chairing the Cabinet session, King Salman expressed his gratitude to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for their dedicated efforts at the "Makkah Joint Defense Summit." He said the summit reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical ties among the three nations, their ongoing commitment to strengthening bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity, and their pursuit of shared strategic interests.

King Salman presided over the Cabinet meeting held today in Jeddah.
