Hasa Al-Hanazliyah illuminated for Saudi National Day in Arar

Hasa Al-Hanazliyah, a prominent desert landmark in the Northern Borders region, was illuminated with light projections featuring the Saudi National Day logo and images of the country's leadership. The striking visual display lit up the rock face in the heart of the desert in celebration of the national occasion.

The event combined the natural beauty of the desert formation with modern lighting technology, expressing feelings of pride and patriotism on this special day.

The lighting gave Hasa Al-Hanazliyah a symbolic character, transforming it into a glowing national tableau that reflected a sense of belonging to the nation and its leadership.

Location and history of Hasa Al-Hanazliyah

Locally known as "Umm Hasa," Hasa Al-Hanazliyah is one of the distinctive rock formations in the Northern Borders region. It is located at kilometer 55 on the Arar–Al-Jouf road, on the western edge of Wadi Arar.

The formation stands between 6 and 7 meters high, shaped over long periods by weathering and erosion of sedimentary layers, giving it its current status as a notable natural landmark in the region.
