Border Guard in Asir arrests Ethiopians for smuggling 78 kg of hashish

Land patrols of the Border Guard in Dhahran Al-Janoub sector, Asir region, have arrested two Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 78 kilograms of hashish.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and both suspects, along with the seized drugs, have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
