Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli official, settlers for Al-Aqsa Mosque incursion

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned and denounced the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by an Israeli official and a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, describing the act as a blatant violation and a provocation to Muslims worldwide.

In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm rejection of provocative practices and all illegal and extremist acts of incitement and violence committed by Israeli officials against Palestinians and the holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The ministry stressed the need for the international community to fulfill its responsibility to halt all such violations, which contravene international law and international humanitarian law.
