Tabuk hosts third mental health conference under patronage of Prince Fahd bin Sultan

The third Tabuk Mental Health Conference began today in the Tabuk region, organized by the Qader Association for Mental Health Promotion and held under the patronage of Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk. The event is themed 'Mental Health: Between Wellbeing and Recovery.'

Ibrahim Al-Anazi, head of the Qader Association in the region, explained that the two-day conference features scientific sessions and specialized workshops covering a range of mental health topics. These include mental health across different groups, psychological recovery and wellbeing, and the impact of digital technologies and social media.

Al-Anazi added that the conference also addresses family-related issues, mindfulness, and psychotherapy techniques, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among health, academic, and community sectors to promote mental health, build awareness, and enhance prevention, recovery, and quality of life.

Broad participation and knowledge exchange

The conference brings together leading specialists, academics, and mental health professionals to exchange knowledge and expertise, showcase the latest practices and experiences, and strengthen cooperation among relevant organizations.

The event also features an accompanying exhibition aimed at supporting the development of mental health services and addressing the needs of the local community.
