Border Guard in Jazan arrests 10 for smuggling 260 kg of khat

Land patrols of the Border Guard in Al-Dayer sector, Jazan region, have arrested 10 violators of border security regulations of Ethiopian and Yemeni nationality caught smuggling 260 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and the detainees and seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
