Saudi farmer and sons harvest 250,000 grape boxes yearly in Qassim
A Qassim family has turned their passion for agriculture into a thriving vineyard, producing 250,000 boxes of grapes annually from 30,000 vines.

Al-Oufi recounted the farm's history, explaining that it was the first vineyard in Qassim. His father moved there and they began by planting Hijazi grapes, eventually expanding to produce more than nine different grape varieties.
He added that planting begins on March 5, with the harvest season running from June 15 to October 15, after which the vineyard enters a dormant phase. The most prominent grape varieties established in the market include: Hijazi, American, Banati, Tabouki, Helwani, and Magic Fingers grapes.
