Saudi Arabia re-elected to lead Arab Administrative Development Organization executive council until 2028

The general assembly of the Arab Administrative Development Organization, during its 59th regular session held today at the organization's headquarters in Cairo, unanimously renewed Saudi Arabia's presidency of the executive council for the 2026–2028 term.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi attended the meeting, along with several ministers and representatives from member states of the general assembly.

The session addressed several agenda items, including monitoring the implementation of decisions from the previous session and reviewing the organization's achievement reports for 2024 and 2025.

Budget review and training programs

Members discussed the organization's budget plan for 2025 and 2026, covering upcoming activities, events, and training programs the organization intends to implement.

The meeting also included the selection of members for the financial and administrative oversight committee for 2027 and 2028, as well as a review of successful administrative experiences from member states and the exchange of expertise and best practices in administrative development.

Saudi Arabia's renewed leadership of the executive council reflects the confidence it enjoys and its role in supporting joint Arab efforts and the work of the Arab Administrative Development Organization.
