The National Center for Meteorology, in its daily report, forecast moderate to heavy thunderstorms with possible flash flooding and hail showers over parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.

The report also indicated a chance of rain-bearing thunderclouds over parts of Najran, as well as the southern areas of the Eastern Province and Riyadh, and the highlands of Madinah region.

It added that active winds stirring dust and sand will affect parts of the aforementioned regions.

For the Red Sea, surface winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds between 20 and 45 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h toward the Gulf of Aqaba. Wave heights will range from one to two meters, rising to 2.5 meters in the Gulf of Aqaba, with sea conditions moderate to rough.

In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 28 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one meter, and generally slight sea conditions.
