Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry launches sixth training course for Cambodian imams and preachers

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance on Monday launched its sixth scientific training course for imams, preachers, and religious leaders in Cambodia. The course, held in Phnom Penh, brought together more than 40 participants from various cities and regions across the country.

The three-day program covers scientific, religious, and professional topics aimed at enhancing the participants’ knowledge and skills, strengthening their understanding of correct Islamic doctrine, and developing their abilities to fulfill their religious duties in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Organizers said the course aims to boost the presence of imams and preachers in serving their communities by improving their knowledge and practical skills, which is expected to positively impact religious outreach efforts in Cambodia.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing international programs to promote Islamic scholarship, train religious leaders, and reinforce the values of moderation and tolerance, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving Islam and Muslims worldwide.
