Public Prosecutor appoints 30 new leaders in major organizational overhaul

Saudi Arabia’s Public Prosecutor and Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, who also oversees the Supreme Steering Committee for the Institutional Transformation Program, has issued a series of strategic decisions to enhance the leadership and organizational structure of the Public Prosecution. The move includes appointing 30 new leaders as part of a new developmental framework, coinciding with a new phase of organizational development aimed at boosting operational efficiency and reinforcing institutional integration within the Public Prosecution.

According to a statement from the Public Prosecution on its X platform account, the decisions include the appointment of deputy prosecutors and assistant deputies, as well as leaders for public prosecution, international cooperation, oversight and investigation, and heads and assistant heads of specialized prosecution offices and departments. The appointments also cover leadership roles in prosecutorial inspection and the technical office.

As part of the new structure, the Public Prosecutor has also appointed general managers for digital solutions and human capital sectors, leaders for centers dedicated to the protection of whistleblowers, witnesses, experts, and victims, as well as heads for cybersecurity, strategic partnerships, and institutional integration departments. Additional appointments include leaders for digital sustainability, innovation, excellence, and business development.

These measures reflect the Public Prosecution’s commitment to building a renewed institutional model that invests in talent, enhances leadership effectiveness and operational efficiency, supports the achievement of strategic objectives, and strengthens its ability to fulfill its judicial mission with competence and professionalism.
