Heavy rain forecast for Makkah region through Wednesday

The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall across several governorates in the Makkah region starting today, Saturday, and continuing through next Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

The center said the weather system will affect the holy city of Makkah as well as the governorates of Al-Kamil, Al-Jumum, Bahrah, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Laith, and Al-Qunfudhah.

Meanwhile, the Civil Defense has urged everyone to exercise caution, follow safety instructions, and adhere to official guidance to ensure their safety during the expected rainfall.
