Saudi and Sudanese foreign ministers pledge to strengthen bilateral ties

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on Monday received Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohieddin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

Following the reception, the two ministers co-chaired a meeting of the Saudi-Sudanese Political Consultation and Follow-up Committee.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to further develop cooperation across various fields. The ministers also discussed recent regional developments and exchanged views on key issues.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing joint cooperation in all areas.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Dr. Zaid bin Mukhlid Al-Harbi and Director General of the General Administration for Council and Committee Secretariats Eng. Fahd Al-Harithi.
