Eastern Province police arrest man for exploiting children in begging

Security patrols in Eastern Province, in coordination with the General Directorate of Community Security and Anti-Human Trafficking, have arrested a Saudi citizen for violating the Anti-Human Trafficking Law by exploiting two children in street begging at public squares and roads.

Authorities stated that the suspect has been detained and legal measures have been taken against him. He has also been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.

Meanwhile, relevant agencies have coordinated with concerned authorities to provide necessary humanitarian services to the two exploited children.

This action is part of an ongoing security campaign to monitor and apprehend beggars in Eastern Province.
