Second intensive Quran memorization program concludes at Quba Mosque

The second edition of the intensive summer Quran memorization and revision program at Quba Mosque in Madinah for 1448 AH concluded today. The month-long initiative was organized by the Al-Wahiyain Association.

The program brought together 190 male and female students from 20 different nationalities, under the supervision of 15 teachers. The association also dedicated a special Quranic circle for visitors to Quba Mosque, giving them the opportunity to correct their recitation and review memorized verses.

The program relied on in-person, intensive Quranic circles focused on teaching recitation according to the rules of tajweed, memorization, revision, and consolidation of the Quran. It also included correcting the recitation of Al-Fatiha and short surahs for visitors, following an educational approach tailored to participants’ varying levels.

Strengthening Quba Mosque’s role in Quranic education

Organizers explained that the program is part of efforts to prepare a generation that memorizes the Quran and embodies its values, while enhancing the role of Quba Mosque’s Quranic circles in teaching and serving the Quran and its followers. The initiative also aims to offer a high-quality educational experience for visitors and reinforce Quba Mosque’s status as a scientific and Quranic beacon in teaching the Book of God.
