Eastern Province Health clarifies circumstances of King Fahd Airport attack casualty

The Eastern Province branch of the Ministry of Health has clarified the circumstances surrounding the admission of a casualty following the recent attack on King Fahd International Airport. The department confirmed that the injured individual received immediate medical care upon arrival at the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam, but later died at the hospital.

In a statement issued on Friday, the branch said it had monitored reports circulating on social media regarding the incident, investigated the circumstances, and reviewed the relevant medical records and procedures taken.

The department reiterated that the hospital provided all necessary medical attention to the casualty as soon as he arrived, but he subsequently passed away. His body was then transferred to Dammam Medical Complex to complete official procedures related to the death and burial.

The Eastern Province Health Department concluded its statement by extending its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family and loved ones of the deceased, praying for mercy and forgiveness for him and patience for his relatives.
