Border Guard concludes marine safety awareness exhibition in Eastern Province

The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded today its marine safety awareness exhibition, which focused on proper practices and reducing the risk of drowning, at the Ministry of Interior Club in Alkhobar.

The exhibition showcased Border Guard regulations for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas, safety guidelines for visiting the sea, the Border Guard’s efforts in search and rescue operations, and the importance of checking marine vessels before sailing.

The General Directorate of Border Guard urged beach and sea visitors to follow all instructions and guidelines, and to call 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, or 994 in other parts of the Kingdom, for emergency assistance.
