Border Guard detains violator of marine safety regulations in Yanbu

Coastal patrols of the Saudi Border Guard in Yanbu, Madinah region, have detained a citizen for violating the safety and security regulations governing marine activities in Saudi waters. The individual was caught fishing without a permit and using prohibited equipment.

According to the Border Guard’s official account on X, legal measures have been taken against the violator in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Border Guard urged the public to comply with regulations protecting marine life and to report any violations affecting the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions. All reports will be handled confidentially, with no liability for the informant.
