Heatwave hits Eastern Province with temperatures reaching 48°C

The National Center for Meteorology has issued a warning that all cities, governorates, and districts in the Eastern Province will be affected by a heatwave today, with temperatures expected to range between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius.

The center stated that the weather conditions will persist until 5 p.m., urging citizens and residents to take necessary precautions to avoid the effects of the high temperatures.

The center also emphasized the importance of avoiding direct exposure to sunlight during midday hours and following preventive guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
