Border Guard in Tabuk detains violators of marine safety regulations

Coastal patrols of the Border Guard in Al-Wajh, Tabuk region, have detained two citizens for violating the security and safety regulations for marine activities in Saudi waters. The individuals were caught fishing without a permit and using prohibited equipment. Legal procedures were taken against them in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Border Guard has urged everyone to comply with regulations protecting aquatic resources and to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions. All reports will be treated confidentially, and informants will bear no liability.
