Border Guard concludes marine safety awareness exhibition in Jazan

The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded today its marine safety awareness exhibition, which focused on proper practices and reducing the risk of drowning, at Kadi Mall in Jazan.

The exhibition showcased the Border Guard’s regulations for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas, essential safety guidelines for visiting the sea, the Border Guard’s search and rescue efforts, and the importance of checking marine vessel safety before sailing.

The General Directorate of Border Guard urged beach and sea visitors to follow all instructions and guidelines, and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions of the Kingdom, for emergency assistance.
