Border Guard in Asir arrests four Ethiopians for smuggling 80 kg of khat

Land patrols from the Border Guard in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested four Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 80 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspects and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
