Jeddah security patrols arrest Ethiopian national for hashish trafficking

Patrols from the General Directorate of Mujahideen in Jeddah have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations and promoting hashish.

According to a statement on the Mujahideen's official X account, the suspect was detained, legal procedures were taken, and he was referred to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province regions, or 999 and 994 in other areas of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995, or via email at (Email:[email protected]). All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
