Four Ethiopians arrested in Jazan for smuggling 80 kg of khat

Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Dayer sector of Jazan region have arrested four Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 80 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both the individuals and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling (911) in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or (999) and (994) in other regions, as well as the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline (995), or by email at (Email:[email protected]). All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
