Ethiopian nationals arrested in Asir for smuggling 32 kg of hashish

Border Guard land patrols in the Dhahran Al-Janoub sector of Asir region have arrested two Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 32 kilograms of hashish.

According to a statement posted on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995, or by email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
