Princess Nourah University’s Women’s Observatory, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties sign partnership to support health transformation

As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in research, training, consultancy, and social responsibility, the Women’s National Observatory at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties have signed a partnership agreement to help build sustainable collaborations for developing the efficiency of the health workforce and supporting health transformation goals.

According to a statement from the university on its X platform account, the areas of cooperation include exchanging expertise, information, and relevant data; supporting training programs and awareness activities related to women’s empowerment; enhancing collaboration in scientific research; supporting research projects; and implementing initiatives of mutual interest.

The agreement is part of the shared objectives of both parties to develop professional performance in the health sector, foster and encourage skills development, enrich scientific thinking and practical application across health specialties, and strengthen cooperation in empowering women in the healthcare sector.

The Women’s National Observatory was represented at the signing by its director, Dr. Sanaa Al-Otaibi, while the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties was represented by Al-Jawhara Al-Ameer, executive director of the Women’s Empowerment Program at the commission.
