Baha Municipality awarded ambulance safety compliance certificate

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Baha region has awarded the Baha Municipality a certificate of compliance with ambulance safety standards, after it fulfilled all approved criteria and requirements. This step aims to boost the preparedness of municipal facilities to handle emergencies and to provide a safer environment for employees, beneficiaries, and visitors.

As part of the qualification process, the municipality’s staff participated in the “First Eight Minutes” course, designed to enhance their ability to respond to emergencies during the critical first eight minutes before ambulance teams arrive. The training focused on the importance of rapid response to increase survival rates and reduce complications, and included instruction in essential first aid skills such as using automated external defibrillators and providing initial care until specialized teams arrive.

The Authority emphasized that awarding the certificate is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen ambulance safety standards and improve the readiness of vital facilities. It also praised the Baha Municipality for its cooperation and commitment to implementing safety requirements that help protect employees, beneficiaries, and visitors.
