Makkah Agreement reflects collective commitment to peace, says Pakistan’s deputy PM

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, said the Makkah Agreement is not a tool for confrontation.

Dar added that the Makkah Agreement represents a collective commitment to peace through strength, solidarity, and mutual respect.

He continued that the signing of the Makkah Agreement marks a turning point in the strategic relations between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the Republic of Turkey.

He stressed that the Makkah Agreement is defensive in nature and not directed against any country, but aims to strengthen collective deterrence against any external aggression.

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan signed the Makkah Agreement in line with their shared interests and objectives, amid regional and international challenges facing the area.
