Public Security showcases AI-powered winged drone at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh

Saudi Public Security, participating under the Ministry of Interior's pavilion at the LEAP 2026 conference and exhibition in Riyadh, showcased its latest winged drone, featuring advanced surveillance and monitoring capabilities powered by artificial intelligence.

Public Security explained that the winged drone can fly for up to three hours with a range of 110 kilometers, and is equipped with a thermal night camera that operates in various weather conditions.

The authority noted that the drone uses AI algorithms to transmit real-time field images to operations rooms and monitoring centers, helping to enhance rapid response and informed security decision-making.

Public Security added that its participation in LEAP 2026 aims to present modern security solutions and technologies, highlighting the role of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in supporting security operations and improving surveillance efficiency.
