Security operations carried out by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control in Asir, Al-Jouf, and Jeddah have led to the arrest of four individuals in three separate cases involving the promotion of narcotic substances. Legal procedures were taken against the suspects, who were referred to the Public Prosecution.

In Asir, authorities arrested two Saudi nationals after they were caught promoting 11 kilograms of hashish. Both suspects were detained, and legal measures were completed before their referral to the Public Prosecution.

In Jeddah, a Nigerian resident was arrested for distributing 12 kilograms of cocaine, in addition to possessing prescription-only medication. He was detained and referred to the Public Prosecution after legal procedures were completed.

The directorate also apprehended a Saudi national in Al-Jouf for promoting hashish and prescription-only medication. He was detained and referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.

Authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug trafficking or promotion by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions.
