Teacher attendance system tied to school’s own plan, expert says

Education consultant Mohammed Al-Amri stated that the teacher attendance system is linked to the school’s plan, which holds all relevant authorities.

Al-Amri, speaking in an interview broadcast on Al Ekhbariya channel, added that the Minister of Education emphasized during the government press conference that one of the key measures to empower school plans is to have an attendance system directly connected to each school.

The consultant further noted that the minister’s main focus was on the teacher, the student, the curriculum, the environment, and the system.

Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan confirmed that teachers participating in the attendance program will leave at the end of the school day, according to each school’s approved schedule. He made these remarks during the government press conference, noting that the ministry is working to develop the education system through training and professional development plans targeting educational staff.
