Heavy rain and strong winds forecast for Jazan, warns meteorology center

Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology on Tuesday issued a warning of moderate to heavy rainfall expected across the Jazan region, accompanied by strong winds, near-zero visibility, hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms.

The alert covers the governorates of Al-Harth, Al-Daer (Bani Malik), Al-Rayth, Al-Aridah, Al-Aydabi, Fayfa, Harub, Al-Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarha, Abu Arish, Dhamad, Sabya, Baish, and Al-Darb, as well as the Al-Fateha center and Farasan Island.

The center noted that these weather conditions are expected to continue, God willing, until 8 p.m. today.
